With all the Catastrophic Weather going on in America during these times, the Head Speaker of the House of Representatives actually feels that Hurricane Survivors shouldn’t get more Relief Funds. According to some Sources that’s in Media it said that maybe since Election is looming right around the corner just ayee the Congresman will put the Blame on Current Administration to Shield the Fact of these terrible decisions that The opposing parties Administration is Responsible for.
House Speaker Mike Johnson plainly rejected calls for Congress to return to pass more funding bills for hurricane victims, claiming that FEMA already had “what they need” at the moment.
In an interview with Margaret Brennan on CBS' Face the Nation Sunday, he played down calls from both sides of the aisle for Congress to return from recess. According to the “Daily Beast” they went on and says:
“It can wait because remember the day before Hurricane Helene made landfall and went up through the states and wound up in Senator Tillis state of North Carolina, Congress appropriated $20 billion additional to FEMA so that they would have the necessary resources to address immediate needs,” he said.
“We put that into the coffers. I just checked as of this morning, less than two percent of that has actually been distributed.”
He also laid the blame on FEMA for failing to “do its job.”
“We need FEMA to do its job,” Johnson explained. “Those funds, that money, is provided so that storm victims can have the immediate necessities met. And then what happens after every storm is that the states have to asses and calculate the actual needs, and they submit to Congress that request. As soon as that is done, Congress will meet and in bipartisan fashion we will address those needs. We will provide the additional resources.”
“It would be premature to call back everyone now because these storms are so large in their scope and magnitude that it’s going to take a little bit of time to make those calculations.”
Brennan challenged Johnson on the claim that a small percentage of the money had already been spent, citing FEMA director’s comments that 9 billion dollars of Congress’ package had already been used.

Images are reportedly being displayed on Social Media sites as Such as "Tic Toc, Instagram & X formally known as Twitter".
The Question is,are these Images & Videos any different from what we are witnessing right here In America when Our kids Record and Brodcast the Horrific Drive By Shooting, and or neighborhood Brawls that's being taking place right here everyday in our own Backyard Daily sometimes multiple times a day on these same Media Platforms?
Sometimes we witness this type of Madness almost everyday before The Local news pick up the Said Events. It's being glorified by some and at other times it's very disturbing to most. Especially families that's victims of these situations. However in most cases,Social media is the Platform to spread such news and Images.
With the Attention of the Latest Strikes, over in Gaza It's being reported that soldiers are Beheading Hostages and murdering entire villages. some of which is not being reported. In some cases they are reporting what they want the World to know,and other cases it's not reported at all. Similar to what's going on right here in our own Backyard. Not to say what's right or Wrong, or who is right and wrong, but is Social media at Fault
Some Teachers and Teachers Associations are at serious Talks of the events going on and really considering Banning these platforms. as a Parent, I agree to a certain point, because again here in America we see Horrific Images of War Daily on Social media,and indeed its very disturbing
